Dramatic series about a group of youthful doctors facing the professional and personal challenges of a career in medicine. Much of the series' action will take place outside a large metropolitan hospital, dealing with the interns' personal involvements as well as their careers, touching on such matters as drugs, sports and friendships. In the first episode, a wife pleads for the mercy killing of her husband; one of the interns is assigned to the case of a southern-born monk; and a go-go dancer disrupts hospital routine.
